Quick-Step renews cycling commitment
Flooring manufacturer Quick-Step has renewed its cycling sponsorship as the main plank of its consumer marketing for 2012.
Next year will be the laminate and engineered wood manufacturer's 14th season sponsoring a professional cycling team. After being the co-sponsor of the Mapei-Quick Step Team, 2010 will be its tenth season as title sponsors of the Quick-Step cycling team.
'Our international strategy for sport sponsorship is part of the achievement of an important objective: increasing the awareness of the Quick-Step brand and reaffirming the quality image of the Quick-Step brand,' says Philiep Caryn, Quick-Step international communication and sponsorship manager.
'In keeping with the fact that our products are sold in more than 110 countries, we opted for the sponsorship of an international cycling team made-up of athletes coming from many different countries.'
