Gautier to revert to stockist model
Gautier has reversed its decision to follow a business model of UK franchise stores.
The cabinet company is reverting to a model of having retail stockists after the closure of its only franchise store.
Martyn Lincoln, Gautier UK md says the company is looking for 50-60 stockists across the UK or 20-30 retailers to adopt its studio concept for its adult furniture ranges along with 20 stockists of its children's ranges.
Lincoln says this year will also see a greater focus on its adult furniture collections. 'We're best known for children's furniture but with more and more of this being sold online, we're concentrating on adult furniture,' he says.
