Ikea considers BHS move
Ikea could boost its fledgling chain of click and collect stores by taking over a number of BHS branches.
The chain has contacted administrator Duff & Phelps about a number of stores, which could see it significantly accelerate its expansion programme.
It already has one out of town click and collect branch in Norwich, with a second due to open in Aberdeen on 12 May. Birmingham will be the home of its first city centre click and collect branch in the summer.
The chain told The Times it had no plans to make an offer for the chain but was ‘exploring a number of potential locations across the UK for more order and collection points.’
