Furniture Village set for quartet opening
Furniture Village is to open more than 72,000sqft of retail space on Boxing Day, with four stores across England.
Taunton will the largest of the quartet. The Somerset store will be on the Priory Fields Retail Park and have a 13,500sqft ground floor and a 11,800sqft mezzanine.
The Cheadle branch will be on the Stanley Green Retail Park, about eight miles south of Manchester city centre. It will have a ground floor of 8,750sqft, with a mezzanine floor of 8,000sqft.
The Tamworth, Staffordshire store will be on the Cardinal Point Retail Park and have a ground floor of 8,350sqft with a mezzanine floor of 7,200sqft.
The Hull branch will be on the St Andrews Quay Retail Park. It will have a ground floor of 8,100sqft, with a mezzanine floor of 6,700sqft.
The openings will take the chain to 48 branches, with another two planned before the end of March. Its Preston branch (pictured) opened in October.
The four stores will be among 20 branches stocking the exclusive Derwent Collection by Parker Knoll.
