Carpet Foundation to launch members’ section online
The Carpet Foundation is to introduce a members section to its website on 1 February as another manufacturer has joined its ranks.
‘Here we hope to arm you, our retail members with a range of resources and materials that will help you in your business.
The section will include marketing support materials such as press ads to use in your local advertising; press releases to send to your local newspapers and magazines; point of sale material; technical support papers on sensitive/hot topics like asthma, underflooring heating and indoor air quality,’ says Andrew Stanford, Carpet Foundation chief executive.
‘We also want to encourage interaction between our members so there will be a discussion area that is entirely yours. Everything is completely private, and confidential, and is solely for you and your benefit.’
On 1 January Penthouse Carpets will become the Foundation’s 18th Patron Member, joining Associated Weavers, Brintons, British Wool Marketing Board, Brockway, Cavalier, Clarendon, Cormar, Crucial Trading, Edel Telenzo, Hugh Mackay, Kersaint Cobb, Kingsmead, Manx, Thomas Witter, Ulster, Victoria and Whitestone Weavers.
