JFS day two: Parker Knoll celebrates 150 years
Parker Knoll celebrated its 150th anniversary with the introduction of Collection 150.
Inspired by the Frederick Parker Archive (more of which you can read about below), Collection 150 has been designed to celebrate Parker Knoll’s heritage and its commitment to developing sofas and chairs that embody the brand’s founding principles of high quality, skilled design, elegant proportions and supreme comfort, while also looking towards the future.
Collection 150 has been inspired by the 1920s and 1930s, a period when the company was commissioned by Cunard to furnish the rooms of its ocean liners: from the sofas and chairs, to beds and occasional furniture. It combines Art Deco influences with a contemporary aesthetic with two sofa collections: Hoxton and Wycombe (pictured), alongside two complementary chairs, Shoreditch and Fitzroy.
Collection 150 will be available from April.
