JFS day two: Ercol opts for six appeal

Ercol introduced six collections new to the UK market, across dining, upholstery and occasional.

The Forli sofa collection is designed with for compact homes, with slim profiles and contemporary fabrics contrasting with the range’s solid oak leg detailing, while a chaise end option (pictured) is designed to fit the modern living space.

Erice is a contemporary dining range built around simple, precise craftsmanship. Each design features legs and posts set at a 45deg angle, creating geometric lines and sporting mitre joints.

The Lugo dining room range takes its inspiration from mid-century Nordic design and features angled legs, exposed tendon joints and recessed handles that are cut out from solid doors and drawers. It is made from solid tulip wood and finished with a dark lacquer.

The Velina chair is a design that can sit in a number of different areas of the home, from dining tables to desks and dressing tables. Showcasing a modern silhouette, the chairs are available in either solid oak or beech and are upholstered in an array of bold colours.

The Rapello collection combines Ercol’s heritage in steam bending with upholstery to create a range of designs that offer a nod to Art Deco style.

The company also introduced pieces from its VON collection, not previously sold in the UK, as well as new dark finishes to its Bosco Bedroom and Windsor ranges.
