Liquidation for Swindon store after rival buys stock. The doors of Swindon furniture retailer Manor Furniture will close for the final time this week after administrators failed to find a buyer for the 18-year old company.

Bath retailer TR Hayes has bought Manor's assets and is holding a closing down sale this week.

Vic Ellaby, joint administrator Hazlewoods, says: 'We are delighted to achieve a sale of the assets to TR Hayes, who are renowned for their excellent customer service. We wish them well for the future.'
