'Administration for Dwell' – report
Speculation over the future of furniture chain Dwell has intensified, with claims it will enter administration within days.
The Financial Times reports that Duff & Phelps has been lined up as administrator ahead of a possible pre-pack deal which could see founder Aamir Ahmad regain control of the 24 store chain.
Last month, Dwell hired Argyll Partners to find a buyer. Dwell's pre-tax losses rose to £675,320 from £456,349 in the year to January 27 2012, according to its latest accounts. Boosted by six new stores, turnover rose by 3% per cent to £34.5m.
